Choose “Passed onto buyer” to keep the full membership price. SlateGrid and Stripe fees are added on top of the amount you set, so your payout stays the same.
Ideal when your club wants predictable income for each membership or ticket and is comfortable displaying a checkout price that includes processing fees.
Choose “Absorbed by club” to show a single, clean price to members. SlateGrid and Stripe fees are deducted from the amount you collect.
Useful when you want to keep sticker prices low or bundle admin costs into your membership dues.
Examples below assume a 3% SlateGrid fee and Stripe's standard 1.75% + $0.30 AUD card fee.
